Online fixed-fee accountants compared
The published starting prices of 13 UK online accountancy firms, as shown on their own websites on 12 October 2026, with what the cheapest package includes.
What this shows
We tried the websites of 39 UK accountancy firms that sell online or fixed-fee packages, and could open 33. 13 published a monthly starting price for a sole trader or limited company package. 9 published only a yearly, one-off or general price, and 11 published no price we could see. The cheapest packages differ a lot in what they include, so the lowest price is not always the lowest cost for your business.
Published starting prices on 12 October 2026
These are the prices each firm showed on its own website on the day we checked. They are not a recommendation or a ranking, and the table is in alphabetical order. Prices change, and some of these packages have limits on turnover, transactions or staff.

How to read the prices
- "From" means the lowest tier. Some cheapest tiers are only for businesses that are not VAT registered, have no staff, or have low turnover or few transactions. Fixed Fee Accountant's and GoForma's are examples.
- The packages are not the same. GoForma's cheapest limited company tier does not include the year-end accounts, for example, while others at a higher price do.
- VAT matters. 11 of the 13 firms in the table show prices with VAT to be added (Clever Accounts says "where applicable"). GoForma and YF Accounting did not say beside the price whether VAT is added.
- Introductory offers end. SG Accounting's and Clever Accounts' limited company prices showed an offer for the first 3 months.
- Extras are charged separately. VAT returns, payroll for staff, catch-up work and advice can all cost more. See What a fee should include.
We do not give an average. A small set of firms that chose to publish prices does not show what accountants typically charge, and we have not found a reliable survey of UK accountancy fees.
Firms that published a different kind of price
We opened these firms' websites on 12 October 2026. Each showed a price, but not a monthly price we could match to a sole trader or limited company package, so they are not in the table.
- Bluebird Accountancy: one monthly price, not split by business type.
- Bright Ideas Accountancy: starting prices with no period or VAT stated.
- Caroola: one monthly starting price, not split by business type.
- Cheaper Accountant: yearly prices.
- Debitam: one-off prices.
- Mazuma: one monthly starting price, not split by business type.
- More Than Accountants: one starting price in the page title, not split by business type.
- Sleek: one starting price for a tailored package, shown as a limited-time discount.
- Taxez: yearly prices.
Firms that published no price we could see
We opened these firms' websites on 12 October 2026 and found no published price. Some give prices through a quote form or a call. Some sites may show prices in parts of the page our check could not read.
Accounts and Legal, Alto, Brookson, Crisp Accountancy, Crunch (accountancy service), CWABC, DNS Accountants, My Tax Accountant, Nordens, Pearl Accountants, The Accountancy Cloud.
How we checked
- Which firms: UK firms that sell accountancy packages online or at a fixed fee, found in earlier research. This is not a full list of online accountants.
- What counts: a firm is in the main table only if its own website showed a monthly starting price for a sole trader or limited company package when we opened it on 12 October 2026. We did not use prices from comparison sites or other firms' pages.
- VAT: recorded exactly as each page showed it beside the price.
- Left out: banking apps and bookkeeping software that include accounting features, because they are not accountancy firms. 6 firms' websites could not be opened by our check on the day (1st Formations, Carter Collins & Myer, Gorilla Accounting, Integro Accounting, Tax Compute, The Accountancy Partnership).
- Not a recommendation: we do not rate or score firms. Being in the table does not mean a firm is a participating firm on The Right Accountant. We do not check whether an accountant is competent, qualified or suitable for your business.
